ABS will control your computer for training, or to help resolve more complicated issues.

This Internet technology allows us to access your computer to support you in a couple of ways. First, we can help with technical issues that are beyond the ability of agency personnel. Second, we can provide better hands-on training because we can watch you operate ABS.

The procedure is:

• Call ABS at 503-659-6752 to make sure we are accepting connections. We could be helping other customers. If so, you can set an appointment.

• While you are on the phone with ABS, they will instruct you to click the link below to download and run the ABS Remote Assistance Program. Do not click the link until they tell you. 

• Stay on the phone with the ABS Representative. You may be asked to take some action required by ABS.

• If your connection will be used for training, get everyone together before calling. Training is conducted for groups, so do this from a desk that has a speaker phone, and where everyone can see the monitor.
